I have seen so many TED talks shared on YouTube and Facebook. I have learned so much from them as well. I never knew the process or how it all was selected, nor that I could one day be one of those videos shared. Today, I am so excited to announce that I was selected to give my first TEDx Talk in Chatham-Kent, Ontario on October 19. This TEDx is called "THE CHANGEMAKERS."
My talk is titled: "If you have then give: redefining philanthropy." As you may know my LAMB Foundation motto is indeed "if you have, then give", and I draw many of my experiences not only from LAMB Foundation but from being a volunteer/board member of Bridge Kids International (www.bridge-kids.org) to share with others just what I mean by redefining philanthropy. Stay tuned for more information about my talk. If you can make it please Register and buy your tickets, and I will see you there. Check out this link for more information:

We are the Wild Ones. The Rule Breakers and Risk Takers. The Envelope Pushers and Idea Generators.
We are Creators. Artists. Entrepreneurs. Philanthropists. Designers. Coders. Musicians. Poets. Scientists. Thinkers. Doers. Caregivers.
We believe that the world CAN be a better place and that change starts right here. Right now.
We come together to collaborate, to share fresh ideas and to find inspiration. We believe that Chatham-Kent is a great place to live, work, and play, and an even better place to stay.
We are respectful of our past, grateful for this moment, and optimistic about our future. We believe our best days are still to come.
We are the Change Makers.
